How can we end the year on a serious note? Musings on India offers us a joke to laugh the year out

Manu Sharma. Santosh Singh. Lalu Prasad Yadav. All judgements very close to each other. Media and the public outcry against Manu Sharma and Santosh Singh. Manu Sharma - convicted. Santosh Singh - convicted. Lalu Prasad Yadav - acquitted. Maybe I sound like a conspiracy theorist but to me this sounds like very clever case of “deflective timing”. Public was given Manu Sharma and Santosh Singh and Lalu was kept away from the media and public eyes. Very clever. We all think that at least two got convicted. But the fact of the matter is that one got away. NO ONE should get away now that we are more aware of our rights and power as individuals.
