You can cover the 350 km distance between these two cities in 5 or 5:30 hours. I have been on other major highways, and this certainly is one of the top Indian highways!
I have travelled between Hyderabad and Bangalore for years but only recently realised that NH 7 stretches from Kanyakumari to Varanasi. Maps are available on the net.
