The Music points out to some facts on Gamakas.

Gamaka is one of the most beautiful aspects of Indian Carnatic Music. Only carnatic music has gamakas. Gamakas are used to beautify the swaras. If the music is without gamaka, it would not be good. The music without gamakas is described as a pond without water, the sky without stars and the garden without flowers. This special aspect gamaka provide the required life and bhava to the raghas of carnatic music.
