Join Blogbharti facebook group.Through carefully designed field studies, Krishna’s research has measured, in a bunch of villages in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, not just the overall poverty levels, but also the migration into poverty by the previously non-poor, and out of it by the previously poor. The policy implications for stemming the former and promoting the latter are clear — and enormous.
