Choxbox on the ghodiyu, a contraption guaranteed to put a baby to sleep!

The minute you tell the world that you are expecting a baby is also the minute you start hunting around for someone who has a little one who will be weaned off the ghodiya by the time yours arrives, and you book it up. The one that was used by my grandmom for her baby (my mom) was still doing the rounds when I was a kid, it was brought over for my little cousin – and I remember it was a beautiful teak one with wooden parrots and such hammered on it.

Hi!
My son who is 4 months old will only sleep in the ghodiyu and not in the crib or the bed. Until what age did your child sleep in it? I am worried that it will be hard to make the transition from the ghodiyu to the crib later.
