We were thirteen or more, and puberty was a burning issue. It was also the biggest of bothers. We were curious as hell, and didn’t know what to ask, or to whom. The dog- eared issues of Fantasy and Debonair only fuelled our curiosities. These were amply supplied by Ajay, who copped them from his brother’s enormous collection. The readers letters was an all time favorite, but this is not what the story is about.
“You guys ever seen a XXX movie?”
“A FULL movie? You mean full of THESE?” Ramu nearly crumpled the page he was so lovingly petting, and sat bolt upright. I was gaping too.“Yes; THESE, and much, much more.” Ajay said with a naughty twinkle in his eye.
“What is MORE?” Ramu let go of the magazine, and the poor thing slid, and landed between his legs. Ajay bent down, picked it up, and stuffed it securely in his schoolbag.
“Its called a FUCK-movie”
“What? What movie?”
“Oh! I know all about FUCK!” Ramu said belligerently, slapping the table hard.
“Really now?”, Ajay looked entertained. “Go ahead, enlighten us”.
It’s engaging and humorous but I liked it so much is because it is also, in a strange way, moving; quite like one of Mistry’s short stories.
