The Case of the Missing Woman: Kausar Bi

Mohib at indianmuslims comments of the revelation by the Modi government in Gujarat, that Kausar Bi was also ‘eliminated’ within two days of her husband being killed in a fake encounter.

Police in India has repeatedly used fake encounters to ‘bump off’ people, however even by their lowly standards, this case stands out. While it is difficult to believe that such encounters are carried off without the knowledge (or sometimes even connivance) of the top police officials, the blame, if any, used to be laid at the shoulders of the lower ranked officers.

Indscribe has more on the ‘killer’ cop DG Vanzara

Gujarat Killer cop DG Vanzara, who has been arrested for the fake encounter of Sohrabuddin Sheikh, had been helped by Muslim villagers in his childhood.Vanzara’s father Gobarji, a poor and illiterate man, herded donkeys. He had no money to finance his son’s studies but the bright boy was helped by many Muslims in his native village in buying books and in school fees so that he could pursue his studies. They helped him all along until he became a big man, the DIG.
