Indian Philosophy and Feminism

It was Debiprasad Chattopadhyaya who brought the Carvaka school of Indian philosophy into limelight with his pathbreaking work by the same name in the 1950s… Vidya now is convinced that Indian philosophy needs a feminist interpretation.
A woman is always percieved as a physical being, a social possession, evil, an obstruction on the pathway to whatever is being realized. And every system of philosophy however intricate will have one such dumbwitted moralistic aphorism. philosopher, thinker, sage and intellectual …Patriarchy leaves no stone unturned.

Yes,Iriga ray or no Iriga Ray, I am convinced we need more feminist interpretations of philosophy particularly Indian philosophy.
