yes of course its – its arey ruk jaa re bandeh.. got mixed up.
i will try to watch it on a projectir at least if not on a movie screen :D yes i also feel that these actors shud get more movies

I was lucky to have seen this movie a couple of years back in a film festival. Believe me, it’s a completely different experience seeing it on screen. And are you referring to “Bande” by Indian Ocean (which I think goes something like arre ruk ja re bande, arre thamm ja re bande..) or the equally brilliant “Allah ke bande” by Kailash Kher (from Waisa bhi hota hai, part 2?) ?

And yes, the performances are just brilliant. I thought Pavan Malhotra was a tour-de-force…agree, I really don’t know why he’s not acting in more movies..but that probably holds true for Aditya Srivastava whose pretty much typecast now as the cop or the goon.

Do see it on screen if you can.

i have seen a downloaded version. it must be great to watch in a movie theatre. the music given by ‘indian ocean’ is aflaatoon. ‘allah ke bande’, bharam bhaap ke’ and ‘badshah in jail’ are the best ones.
aditya srivastav, kaykay and pavan malhotra (i dont know why he doesn’t get many films) as well as the other actors are really really good. i had written ‘nothing’ about it here http://quitsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/11/movies.html
