Dhoom 2 reviews

Dhoom 2 reviews coming in.

[Spoiler Warning: Some posts linked below give away key parts of the movie]

Vijay, at Passion for Cinema, points out some loopholes in a plot he finds weak, but also gives the movie a 7 out of 10.

It is the kind of ridiculous entertainment men especially take a sadistic pleasure in watching. Overlooking the technical flaws and Aishwarya Rai’s painful performance, “Dhoom 2” pumps the adrenaline up fairly well to kill an evening.

Langda Tyagi at Moviewalah, while finding the first half annoying, thinks it will be a big hit.

The movie is good, definitely worth a watch and if the first half disappoints you, just hang in there because it only gets better. [...] Going by the crowds and anticipation that was created by Dhoom 2, I think this movie will be a big hit.

Deep heard whistles in the theatre on Hrithik’s entry, but none for Abhishek or Aishwarya. He thinks the movie will be a super hit and gives it four out of 5

Hritik ruled the movie..action sequences were just amazing, specially the chase between Ali and Aryan. [...] I do not understand the need for Bipasa Basu’s role in the first half. Aishwarya Rai did her job well.

However, Amodini gives it only 2.9 out of 5. She got sick to the gills of a hero in slow motion being thrust adoringly down her throat and thinks the movie is disappointing.

This is quite an unbearable film. Halfway through it, I’m waiting for the film to pick up and show some promise. But it doesn’t; it gets worse..[...] There’s precious little going on in the film. I mean they literally don’t do anything.

Shah, from UK, was disappointed with the action sequences .

The movie had its plus points for sure, for example the exotic location – Brazil – one never explored before by a bollywood director. The action sequences were relatively poor, i don’t want to write an essay on this factor of the movie…but it’s so not worth it.
