Hockey v/s Cricket

On the Indian national hockey coach, Mr. Joaquim Carvalho’s recent comments, Ashish Chandorikar believes that the coach has the right issue but the wrong time.

So the point, which Mr. Carvalho has raised, is not wrong but the time, which he selected, is wrong. He should have raised the issue just after Asia Cup victory. Because none can understand the situation of these winners except they raise voice. Unless you raise voice or fight you wont get anything in this country. This is the condition of sports in India.

Bala, on the other hand, believes it is untrue that we do not recognise other sports.

So, its untrue that we are not recognizing other sports, and we have some special affection towards cricket. Honestly we given other sports enough chance and most nations don’t recognize the bronze winners and 100th ranked players like we do. We are plain pathetic in most sports and people don’t want to keep seeing a losing home nation. Would Cricket be so much of fun if we have 75 to 100 nations play competitively?
