Metro Movie Review

At Moviewalah, Prachi Singh felt that the movie “Life in a Metro” couldn’t deal with the intertwined stories of its myriad characters.

There is an excessive intertwining of separate stories and somewhere or the other, it seems like they have been only put in the script to heighten the melodrama but really it peeks on to boredom and seems like a complete waste.

Though the movie roped in talents such as Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja and Konkona Sen who have been well received by the audiences earlier for their intense performances, yet here it only feels as if they have been squandered away.

indieLONDON thinks the movie doesn’t deliver

Several insights into Indian culture and changing attitudes are intriguing (mostly concerning Shetty’s character) but any potential is wasted by an MTV approach that insists on setting several sequences to the soundtrack provided by a band that integrates with the characters.
