Salaam e Ishq review

Six couples. One film. Very long, actually.

Nouman didn’t like the movie.

I will just say that movies like these make me hate going to the multiplex and finding myself trapped for four hours. Yes, the movie is around 220 minutes and quite frankly, it doesn’t deserve to be this long[...]Ultimately, Nikhil Advani looks like he got carried away by the concept of making a movie featuring multiple plots which all tie together in the climax. Unfortunately, he is not Steven Soderbergh and this is not Magnolia.

Scribbler thinks its worth the effort only subject to some conditions.

It’s a movie that may be watched if tickets can be home-delivered wituout the hassle of standing in a line. If someone else is booking, all the better. Ensure the popcorn is good, the seats are comfortable, there are no kids around and you haven’t been awaiting this film for too long. If all above are as per advised, the film is eminently watchable.

Deep is disappointed with the movie.

So overall I would give this movie 2.5 stars out of 5. I am really disappointed; I had lot of expectations from this movie. It could have really done well if it was fine tuned properly. It is worth watching once but you should also keep in mind that, the movie nearly touches 4 hour duration. (3.30 hours to be exact)
