Shah Rukh at the new KBC

Bloggers react on new host Shah Rukh Khan at the comeback episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) last night.

Farghana believes King Khan lived up to expectations…

His interactions with the contestants exuberates warmth and great empathy for them which gives the impression that he really wants the contestant to win the greatest amount possible. And SRK, known for his wit and gift of the gab, laced the show with impromptu humour that has you chuckling even at the distant remove of your own home.

…but Aseem disagrees and misses Amitabh Bachchan…

You certainly miss the aura of The Big B, [...]the so passionate and comforting voice he has to the little squeaky voice of Shah Rukh Khan. Still nothing to take away from Shah Rukh, he is known for his presence of mind, smart one liners, wits that can amuse you, which I kinda found missing through the show. His jokes so silly and pre-planned that I couldn’t honour them with a laugh. [...]He wasnt hosting the show but acting there.

…and after making a lengthy list of what makes him a Shah Rukh fan, Manish concludes

I think he was true to himself! All style, little originality but no pretence as well[...] Which other star would have the balls to say on National TV that “Log kehte hain, main sirf style hoon, mujhe acting nahin aati hai. Sahi hai” and that “Aap jo chahein main woh colour ka coat pehenooga, agar boley to petticoat bhi pehenooga”

When the question on carrom board was asked and the red coin is what asked SRK the egoistic self proclaimed man had to say that ‘i am the king’ buls shit that when i put off the telly this man will bite the dust one day he is so much arrogant his fall will be taken as an example set to stars to be modest.
