You could afford not posting on August 15th, but not on Feb 14th, lest they think you are unromantic. Is there too much pressure on bloggers to post on Valentines day. Another ritual, isn’t it….

Don’t ask me what I’m doing on February 14. The same routine as last year. Go to office, return home and blog about my Valentine’s Day blues. At least girls have more choice. They can even write to prisoners if they want.

Maybe I don’t feel any attachment to this tradition because I have not grown up with it, Valentines Day was unheard of when I was in school, at least there was not much hullabaloo over it in our small township.
