Mona reminisces cheerful anecdotes about her son, fondly called Denis the Menace, who now does not even want to hug her. Personal post but I found it a very interesting read.

Once, these two went chasing her so much up the trees and up the walls & down under the beds etc. , till they were soaked to their underpants in perspiration. As we sat inside with some guests , they came rushing in , both shouting and demanding from their respective moms ( my sister and me) ” We want Whisper Sanitary Napkins! We want Whisper Sanitary Napkins!”
!!!!
It turned out that earlier that day, they had seen an advertisement on the TV selling Whisper Sanitary Napkins , napkins that “were super absorbent and guaranteed to soak all wetness”!
