Peringodan writes about a website stealing contents from Malayalam bloggers (blog posts and photos) and use it without notifying them. When asked to remove the content, the site owners made threatening gestures and blocked the IPs of bloggers who registered complaints. In an update he also mentioned that some of the stolen contents have been taken off.
Kerals.com seems to be afraid of people finding more violations by them and all they wanted to do was protect themselves from their misdeed by blocking bloggers who were now collecting proofs and checking whether any of their other content is stolen by Kerala.com. If Kerals.com is not guilty why should they ban those who complained?
Mayoora, another Malayalam blogger, has also been a victim. I recently found out that a website by Las Vegas Malayalis using my Malayalam podcasts without due credits and publishing it as their own. Later they took it out after I sent out an email to them.
