Ananthakrishnan G deciphers a picture:
This picture of a mother and two children, one of them an infant (only the elder child is seen, in the foreground), is a portrait of the little people who keep falling through the net in one of the fastest growing economies on the planet. As commuters, many talking on their cellphones watched, the woman kept tapping a listless beat on a plate on the moving train and the child performed simple tricks; at the end of each set of tricks, it went around with the begging bowl. Presumably, tens of thousands of such mendicants traverse the length and breadth of this country in the great Indian railways everyday.

It is indeed a very sad picture and expose India of it is hidden truth. The so called economic reforms ammazingly not yet reached 250 m peple who live below poverty line. The poor-uneducated-landless going to live like this for next 100 years if the educated class-bureacrats-currupt politicians continue to make policies that please only the rich urban-class.It is why one should not be surprised when “Forbes-Richest List”includes max number of Indians!.Another reason is the myth about ideologies we embrace, socialism to preach capitalism to practice. To become developed country-say in next 25 years it is these poor people to be uplifted and should feel equality in everything.Stop!bragging about economic development,we all of us owe something to one forth of the population. We have max nuber of technocrats in Bangalore also highest number of beggers too.
