Apurva Mathad (a.k.a Madhat) announces the release of his first photobook, Maldives, a compilation of photographs he’d taken on his recent trip to the islands. You can buy the book or preview the pictures here.
I took a look at some of the pictures and they’re truly breathtaking. Skyscapes, corals, marine life, people and the sea: go, take a look and find your own superlatives.
Blogbharti is proud to have Apurva Mathad among its contributors.
And is very happy to note that the number of BB contributors with published, soon-to-be-published books to their credit has just swelled by one.

wow! thanks for the plug!
but really it is a self-publishing site where anyone can publish a book. :)
btw, if people are interested in self-publishing in India, there is something coming very soon - http://pothi.com/
yes, i know.. :) but the pictures do need to be seen. and there are going to be other buyers apart from me, i’m sure. so, can it get more real than that?:)
Some of them are here.
Apurva I checked the Flicker set and I really enjoyed the pictures. Does it cost a bomb to go to Maldives?
Mridula, it is not very expensive really. The airfare is like 7k one way. But you get a holiday package for about 30-35k…
Thanks for the information Apurva. Maybe one day …
thanks for sharing this photoblog….lovely images!
