Huyler, whose mentor was Beatrice Wood, first traveled to India over 37 years ago on her recommendation. Since that first visit, he has continued his relationship with India, spending on average, four months a year there. Huyler is particularly interested in “village India”. Like a nomad, he roams the country documenting his encounters.
