Shravan views the recession, across the west, as an opportunity for India:

1. Dropping commodity prices, like steel and cement, ensure that construction costs are sure to go down. This should definitely help in making infrastructure and construction more viable
2. Crude prices are falling, and this means that if the prices of petrol and diesel are cut in India, we could see a drop in inflation as well
3. There is a distinct Indian middle class which is growing to be a powerful spending force. Indian companies who have focussed on the west can now focus inwards, hence contributing to productivity and prosperity…

Maybe pvt vehicle owners (car & bike) shd be given limited quota of fuel to lessen the demand of fuel in the first place.
It will enlighten people to use the benefits of public transport usage where many people can travel with lesser fuel.
It will also reduce pollution & traffic congestion.
Lesser demand = lesser price of fuel.
