The history is proof that we love to be stepped upon...... Be it moguls or Britishers........ We ourselves had Terrorism, Blue Star operation, Babri Masjid massacre, Mumbai blasts, Terrorists attack, Jharkhand-Bihar division; U.P.- Uttranchal division, and now Maharashtrian- Non Maharashtrian.... Most of these being politically motivated, either national or international.... We never learn lessons..... Every ruler practice East India's policy of divide and rule and we never learn lessons..... We always get divided.... While poor people of India living hand-to-mouth condition, get butchered around India, the people initiating it travel in posh cars like BMW and Lexus.... we have our eyes closed..... Post 26/11 Mumbaites came on road in protest, but now what.... The system is still the same, the promises not fulfilled..... And we have again become silent till another massacre happens, which brings threat to our door.... I feel pity for myself and rest of Indians... Forgetting the past and walking on is not a choice but a compulsion, as we love personal comfort/security above anything else.... We need to change, it will be lot of discomfort, but it will be worth.... In spite of suffering at hand of others, put ourselves to suffering by deciding we will not compromise for personal comfort.... we will not go for shortcuts, the chnage will happen, though slow but will last long....
