Prem Trivedi, NRI and Indicorps volunteer, is
just becoming a lot more conscious of my different frames of reference here; and the interesting mixture of “Indian” and “non-Indian” perspectives. At least as of today, I think I’m discovering just how American I actually am.
He feels ‘this identity discussion is a topic I usually feel is flogged to death,..’ but his views and his experiences in India are interesting. And..what’s Indicorps? It’s ‘a non-partisan, non-religious, non-profit organization that encourages Indians around the world to actively participate in the progress of the country that defines their identity.’
