John Elliot talks about Indians in Fortune’s Most Powerful Business Women list:
Linked by kuffir. Join Blogbharti facebook group.Mr Kamath has consistently chosen women rather than men. But he denies giving them preference for top jobs, telling me it was “clearly a result of merit”. His criteria was to pick “leaders with ability, intellect, and the entrepreneurial ability to lead teams”. He valued women’s “ability to think in a much more detached manner than men.”
Either way, Mr Kamath called it a “win-win” situation, adding: “Only if male bosses have a closed mind does gender rear its head. . . .Then you could get into confrontation.”
