it makes you freeze to realise that it’s easier for the media to portray a dead man as a person, than portray a woman as something more than a “body”.
Her post reminds me of this web-essay which proves using pictures how the male and female stereotypes are used and reinforced by the pictures in the media. Even the words used one the cover – Smart and sassy – would never be used to describe a successful man, even if he is sassy.
