Global Voices is holding its annual summit at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. It tries to aggregate (to say the least about their work, they do much more) voices from around the globe (except western Europe and the US, which they feel is already overrepresented in the media) and put it in one place.
Yours truly and Shivam Vij were at the meet but I have to write a post yet. Sakshi talks about the first two sessions and gives a flavor of the agenda.
Ethan Zuckerman, the co-founder of the forum shares his thoughts on the translation of posts from various languages, so as to reach more and more people.
Hungarian Accent shares the thoughts on the outreach session: how to reach more and more people and get them blogging or at least get them heard.
Kamala Bhatt rounds up the first day’s thoughts.
Update: Jace has photographs from the conference at Flicker.
