The Show Begins

Live updates are available at Great Findings.

Mangal Singh Champia has been Ranked 2nd in the Individual Archery Ranking Round . He was just behind Juan Rene Of Mexico (679 points). Mangal got 678 points. He will have a great chance of winning a medal as he will get a relatively easy passage through the rounds. If he keeps up his form, he may win GOLD. Pray for him.

Hyderabad Tourist says-

Let professionals replace politicians in top elective sports offices. Otherwise, our athletes can only succeed despite the system, rather than because of it. International sport is highly professional, demanding not only absolute dedication, but also world-class support facilities. We have neither in our sports schools, which are the best hope for athletic talent from rural and impoverished India. Is it any surprise then that they don’t churn out champs the way rich cricket academies do?

    HI,

I know you from http://www.iwebie.com/ Appreciate your comments. I am also the author of the article

    http://www.iwebie.com/indias-2008-beijing-olympics-dreams

I see that you have added http://www.wittysparks.com/2008/08/09/india-at-beijing-olympics-2008/ in your track back urls

I just want to bring to your notice that the contents of this page has been copied from my article: http://www.iwebie.com/indias-2008-beijing-olympics-dreams

The author of this site actually had the audacity to copy contents from my site. Of course, I have since changed some of the sentences in my blog. But as you can see, the sentences which I have not modified , since the time the contents were copied, appear unchnaged in this spam website.

I request you to please remove the links I have mentioned which has clearly copied my contents. Please do not be encouraging such actions.
If you want instead link the original url [http://www.iwebie.com/indias-2008-beijing-olympics-dreams]… this effectively contains the same info as the [http://www.wittysparks.com/2008/08/09/india-at-beijing-olympics-2008/]…

Once again, requesting you to not encourage such plagiarisms.

    hi,
the statistics was borrowed from iwebie & courtesy for the authorship has been provided by the wittysparks to iwebie while the content is genuine for the post, u may check the same..

@ krstiger- A lot of the contents were directly borrowed from iwebie. It is good to see however, that most of the copied contents were removed. However, the below copied paragraph still remains:

All the efforts of these valiant athletes who overcome all sorts of odds (inferior training facilities, lack of funds, no support from the Govt.) are buried under the lack of interest of an entire nation interested only in cricket. It is heartening, however, to see the efforts of certain Organizations in promoting these neglected sports in India.

Having written these lines myself, I am sure this is a direct copy of my lines with the the order of the sentences being different.
