Although the rather long post by Aijoni is a little old, I’d strongly advocate that you should read it. The post hits out at a lot of people for who the stereotypes stick out more due to ignorance and prejudices rather than first-hand interaction with actual people from the North East. My boss in office (and I had swore never ever to bitch about bosses,but here you go ), was pissed off with me and shouted “This is the problem with you North-Easterns,refusing to use your brains”. I KID YOU NOT. This from a guy who has worked for 30 years, is a VP of the fuck- all organisation that I am being forced to work now. And I just didn’t retaliate,as I already have lots of issues with this place and I am just waiting to complete my one year here.
